2.What Inspired Me

Last summer, I was feeling a little bored and asked my mom if I could buy something special with the money I had saved. For my 10th birthday, I had saved up about $800—from gifts and the money I earn whenever I do chores around the house. I wanted to spend it on something meaningful.

That’s when my parents suggested, “Why don’t you start your own business with that money?” I thought about it carefully because I still wanted to balance school and classes. I needed something small and easy to manage.

Then my parents mentioned a magnetic business. I looked it up and watched lots of videos of people making fridge magnets and bookmarks. It seemed fun and doable, so I decided to give it a try!
